The Golfers
Dustin “DJ” Jiles
Handicap 6.8
The man who for the 2nd year in a row named a trip after himself. With a decent driver and better irons, Dustin plans to redeem his loss from last year in a putt off on the 19th hole. What he lacks in skill he more than makes up for in his organizational abilities, but were not sure how that helps him on the course. Ready to return with a vengance, lack of skill, and undeniable love for the game and take the 2nd annual jiles classic cup home!
Cory “The Heel” Cottrill
Handicap: 8.2
Cory won last years Jiles Classic with a put off on the 19th green! Cory is mentally ready to defend his title but can he physically? Ol' Peg Leg they called him after rupturing his ACL playing pickleball. Cory brings a renewed sense of class to this trip, just ask him, he'll tell you. While not a big driver off the tee, his wicked short game is what keeps him competitive. Let’s see if he has the ability to claim year 2!
Jeremy “Sticks” Ragan
Handcap: 6.4
Jeremy "Sticks" Ragan returns for a shot at glory. Have you ever seen someone hit a golf ball so hard, it changes brands? Well Jeremy is your guy. He has been pimping the dimples on golf balls since many of us were pissing in diapers. Jeremy is here for a good time, not a long time as his significant age gap shows itself in his ultimate wisdsom, jokes and the noise he makes when he bends over to pick up the "gimme" after his third putt.
Matt “Z” Zicher
Handicap: 16
Matt plays golf with the confidence of a much better player. Coming in at a 16 index, he talks like he is scratch. Ever seen a drive go 200 yards in the air, and 200 yards forward? Matt will blow your mind! Matt was our penultimate finisher in year 1, but he is back to defend that title. As he says all the time "Wanna see how not to do it?"
Chris “Lurch” Lepore
Handcap: 19.8
Chris is new to the game, and it shows. However, dont let that HDCP lull you into complecancy. Hes been known to string together quite a few holes. As the winner of the D-flight Memba-Memba, hes on top of his competition golf game. His attitude and love of the game will make you fall in love with him. He will only try to sell into you once this trip, anyone need temporary staffing??
Brian "BVV" Van Valkenburg
Handcap: 20.0
Brian “BVV” returns to the links, armed with a 20 handicap, the observational humor of a seasoned comedian, and enough Cycling Frog to make a Sunday afternoon feel like a research study. A man of few words, BVV prefers to let others embarrass themselves before quietly delivering a one-liner so devastating you’ll forget you’re holding a 7-iron. Recently discovering THC beverages, he has taken it upon himself to spread the good word, sharing both the joys of the Frog and the questionable life decisions that inevitably follow. Off the tee, BVV has officially declared driver a public safety hazard, opting instead for a sky-high wood that travels approximately 40 feet straight up before making a miraculous descent into the fairway. Don't let the quiet demeanor fool you, though. When the scramble is on the line, BVV has a knack for finding his swing at precisely the right moment, reminding everyone why consistency beats distance. Of course, with the number of golf balls he'll donate to the local ecosystem this weekend, the real miracle will be making it to Sunday without having to borrow clubs, balls, or a ride home.

The group heads to southern Indiana to take on Chariot Run, a beautiful links-style course featuring wide-open fairways, rolling hills, and plenty of opportunities to get into trouble. Don't let the generous landing areas fool you—strategically placed bunkers, water hazards, and challenging greens will keep everyone on their toes. Description
The crew will have their work cut out for them at the historic Donald Ross Course at French Lick. Built in 1917 and host of the 1924 PGA Championship, this classic layout might just be the toughest test of the trip. With massive elevation changes, 80 deep bunkers, and some of the craziest greens you'll ever putt on, no lead is safe here. The Ross tees pack a serious punch, so bring your A-game, plenty of patience, and maybe a few extra golf balls!
